Using Craigslist to make great progress in your fitness marketing is fantastic because it's free and it can work if you know how to work it.
The first thing you need to do is to get your two lists together. First, make a list of every single service that you offer, and then a list of every way that someone could benefit from your services.
The next part of using Craigslist is to create your headline. Your headline must deliver a strong promise. Use strong action words to create a headline outlining what benefit you will be able to deliver to someone.
It's important to use quality photos as part of your Craigslist ads. Pictures account for a 99% better response on Craigslist, if you have them. First, let's discuss a photo of you, preferably involved in your business. This helps you to look like an authority figure in the area of your business. Underneath your photo, you should provide your name and write what makes you an expert in the fitness industry.
Finally, if you have a client who is willing to give you a pictorial success story, use that. Before and after pictures are extremely powerful.
Use the words "you" and "your" in all of your fitness marketing on Craigslist. Nothing else makes a reader internalize and accept the copy like using those words.
Talking about your qualifications isn't very necessary at all. Let them know how hiring you will be of a huge benefit to them. If they take it in and need your service, they will contact you. If you do need to list some qualifications, twist it up to their direction. Say something like, "I have qualifications in personal training from the best school to help you get in the best shape of your life!" This is how to introduce why you can help them!
Write them a letter. Address them as a friend who you are telling the world's greatest secret to! Ask them questions that they'll always answer yes to. This method of fitness marketing works. Then you insert any testimonials from any of your current clients. If you're new to the business, you might want to borrow these from a friend in the fitness industry. Always put a strong call to action at the end. This seals up the deal and gets them contacting you.
If you offer them a limited-time, incredible deal on something or even give them something free, they are even more likely to respond. Rotate your ads by writing up four of them and posting in a rotation per Craigslist rules. Using these tips will get you some action from the wonderful, free craigslist site. It's good fitness marketing for free!
